Your ManGrate: Unbelieveable Look and Flavor!

Grill juicy, perfectly cooked steak, poultry and fish. ManGrates sear meats and vegetables with restaurant
signature grill marks for a professional look and taste.

Even Heat, Reduced Flair Ups!

ManGrate's cast-iron design utilizes radiant heat - instead of convection heat or "hot air" - searing in the juices
but allowing the meats to cook evenly. The smoke rails are the angled ledges on each bar of the ManGrate.
These ledges are designed to trap and retain oils and fats released during grilling, and it's these juices aid
in the natural smoking process, giving meats a rich, barbequed flavor. They also serve to reduce flair ups.

Easy Cleaning!

All you need to care for your ManGrates is a ManBrush and spray cooking oil. Clean off ManGrates before grilling,
spray evenly and thoroughly. After grilling, allow ManGrates to cool, brush clean, oil and close grill lid.
Your ManGrates will season over time; a well-seasoned ManGrate naturally resists rust and creates a virtually
non-stick grilling surface.

Durability!

ManGrate's American-Made, heavy-duty, cast-iron design is virtually indestructible and if well cared for, can last a lifetime.
ManGrates can be transferred to any grill you may ever own.
Each ManGrate measures 15" long x 4 1/4" wide x 1 3/8" high. A pair of ManGrates covers 15" x 8 1/2."

Setup & Care

Useful tips on how to use your new grilling accessory.

1. Setting Your New ManGrates on Your Grill:

ManGrates are designed to be set on top of your existing grill grates. Your ManGrates can be placed
on your grill either horizontally (left to right) or vertically (front to back) with the smoke rails pointing up.

2. Seasoning Your New ManGrates:

To minimize food sticking to your new, unseasoned ManGrates, liberally spray the grate surface with
any aerosol cooking oil such as Pam, or apply Crisco, corn oil or olive oil to the top of the grates with a
basting brush. Turn grill to high, close the grill lid and let grates heat for 10 to 15 minutes to allow the oils to
penetrate your new grates. Your ManGrates will continue to season naturally through continued use.

Seasoning is a natural process that occurs over time and is achieved by frequently grilling on your
ManGrates. Cast iron is a porous metal that will absorb the oils and fats cooked on the grates. The
darker the grate becomes, the more the oils have been absorbed, resulting in a well-seasoned grate.

3. Care of Your ManGrates:

• Brush ManGrates regularly after each use. This will allow the oils to spread throughout the grate

• Close the lide of your grill when not in use

• Should your grates show rust due to non-use, just brush off the affected area and oil

4. Seasoning Your New ManGrates:

The grease gutters are the flat ledges on each side of the ManGrates' smoke rails, and are designed to
trap and retain the oils and grease from the cooking meat, which aid in the natural smoking process,
giving the meat a rich, barbecued taste.
They also serve in reducing the potential of grease flare ups.

5. Basic Cooking Techniques with Your ManGrates:

Turn on your grill or light the charcoals. Pre-heat the ManGrates until they begin to faintly smoke, then
turn the temperature down and begin cooking.

DO NOT overheat your ManGrates and "burn off" the oils left from previous grilling session, nor do you
need to constantly turn or flip the meat. The goal is to get a nice seared "diamond" on both sides
of the meat.
